Our facility is not open to the public, please do not stop in.  All materials and supplies are delivered direct from our suppliers to your site.  Less shipping = less damage.  Because we recently relocated, we do not yet have a model constructed.

A note from the owner.....

I want to take a moment and explain some differences in the way we operate.  I have personally worked for years to ensure we operate in the most efficient way possible.  That very much includes the manner in which we estimate projects. 

Before a site visit is performed we will provide you with a quote for your project.  When you have reviewed it, if you are interested in moving forward, that is when we will perform a site visit to meet , go over the quote, the site work, and any details that need attention.  This does not mean you are obligated to sign, nor will you be pressured to do so.  It is just the most efficient way for both of us to maximize our time.  

You will note on your quote that all of the contract language is included.  When you sign the quote, the quote becomes the contract.  This minimizes the necessary paperwork and simplifies the entire process from start to finish.  Once signed we will provide you with a payment schedule (RoP Receipt of Payment) that we will update and send to you with each update, omission and payment.

All of our representatives have started from the ground up building pole barns including myself.  As a result, we are the most knowledgeable post-frame builders in the industry.  

Post-frame buildings have come a long way from oversized sheds, and they were originally designed that way.  Estimating them has  become more complicated to meet the requirements of local and international code.  As the experts in the industry, we are often tasked with some of the most complex projects and we ask for your patience when waiting for our response.  We will not forget you. 

For those interested in Barndominiums:  Pole barns gain their lower price by not having a foundation wall.  If you want a basement, it is often better to construct conventionally.  The only way I would suggest post-frame on a foundation is if you wanted to see massive framework (large poles) and beam style exposed trusses.  These days, they are still very costly as there is still no design software and everything must be detailed and drawn by hand.  Additionally, for pricing, we will price the building shell insulated with under slab insulation and vertical perimeter insulation.  That is how it is done correctly to insulate your concrete and is most times going to be required by the township.  Radiant floor tubing is a time consuming and laborous process and if done correctly, will have sleeves over each pipe where every concrete control crack is designed to go.  What we need from you for the interior is a floor layout, interior finishes, drywall, vinyl flooring, carpeting, ceilings, for each room. Choosing 1x8 prestained tongue and groove runs similar in costs to drywall spackle paint, so be creative!  We also need door and window locations and for kitchens and baths, the best thing is to find a kitchen and bath place and work your design and thoughts with them, they will draw you a spec sheet/plan for us to incorporate.  Interior doors are another area you will have to choose what type and style.  We don't like surprising you so we will not guess at anything above.  We know what it takes to build a barndominium right so there will be things included that have been well thought out and applied.  It has been my experience that doing it correctly does cost nearly as much as conventional construction, but you will have a extremely well insulated and efficient home that will easily last a lifetime.  Typical stick frame construction breaks the insulation barrier every 16" with a stud, a pole barn, every 8 feet.  This is why they are so efficient.  

We also are not able to decide how you want your barndominium to look or be designed.  You must be ready with a floor plan and details.  Be wary of many of the cookie cutter designs online that look great but make no mathematical sense.  Measure your car, measure rooms, and please do some research.  You will be investing real money into your project and you can only build it once.  This takes a lot of thought and effort on your part.  It is worth every second you put into it though.
